My experience

I have been working in ceramics since since my university days, sitting down for my first clay class in 2010. After that, I joined a community ceramic studio in Wisconsin, USA called the Midwest Clay Project and later started teaching in 2017 at Keramikatelier Liebertee in Berlin.

I opened my own ceramic studio in 2018 and started teaching full time. The following year I moved to a bigger location and opened the studio up to independent ceramicists in the community. During that time I employed several ceramicists to teach 5 classes per week and mentored a studio membership of 100+ artists.

I operated that studio for 3 years until I decided to make a big life change and move away from Berlin and settled in an old house in the countryside of Bavaria. Currently I teach smaller design tools & templates for pottery beginners, and provide educational pottery content online that the whole world can access.

My mission from the start was to bring greater access to the world of ceramics for whoever wants to explore their creativity in this diverse medium. Teaching online allows me to live a more peaceful life out in nature, while making my educational content accessible to everyone across the globe.
